Storm damage to North Cronulla beach

North Cronulla beach is closed to the public for safety reasons due to the severe sand erosion of the beach and first dune over last few months due to constant large swells and severe weather conditions. 

Sutherland Shire Council has removed the top section of the tower on Monday night and is now in preparation for urgent remedial works along the beach.

Access along the Esplanade in front of our club is now restricted and access to our existing temporary operational compound is restricted and working with Lahey and Council to address. 

Updates will be provided once council has confirmed the activities associated with the remedial works.
