The North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club Inc. Board of Directors welcomes your attendance to complete this special meeting and ask for approval of motions 4 and 5 for Project Phoenix. Motions are detailed below and in original agenda.

Notice of Motion 4:                                                                                                                                                 

Approval to be granted to enter into financial loan agreement with nominated financial institution as outlined in Project Phoenix Presentation held at the Special General Meeting held on Sunday 17^th October 2021 and as per Club Constitution Clause 11 POWERS OF BOARD.

Notice of Motion 5:                                                                                                                                               

Approval to be granted for the North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club Finance Director to process and approve payment of the nominated builders progress claim payments as per the nominated builder’s payment schedule. Our Project Manager will review payment claims and variations and approve payment before they are processed and approved for payment and as per Club Constitution Clause 11 POWERS OF BOARD.

Note: This includes private and confidential information on our commercial loan facility that cannot be shared publicly.

These matters will have a significant bearing on the Club’s future at both a financial and operational level.

 Am I eligible to vote?

To be eligible to vote you must be a current 2021/2022 financial member and in one of the following categories.

The club constitution sets out which Members have the right to vote:  

9.9.2 The following Members only shall be entitled to vote at General Meeting of the Club: Senior Members; Youth Members holding a Bronze Medallion Award; Life Members; and Associates holding office as prescribed by the Regulations.  

Senior Members which comprise:

• · Life Members

• · Senior Members which comprise of: Long Service Members; Reserve Active Members and Senior Active Member; Country, Defence Service; Under 17; Under 19; Under 15 (holding a Bronze Medallion Award)

• · Associates Holding Office

To vote you need to have registered to attend the meeting and be online during the voting process. 

If I am NOT eligible to vote can I still attend?

Yes, every current 2021/2022 financial member is welcome to attend NCSLSC’s virtual meeting and view proceedings.  You must have registered to attend.  During the voting process you will be unable to view and participate in the process.
