Nippers is a fun way for children aged 5 to Under 14 to enjoy the beach in a safe environment. Our Nippers program is deisgned to increase your child’s confidence, knowledge and skills in the beach environment. Kids will take part in both sand and ocean activities gradually building their skills and confidence as they grow.

New Nipper Memberships 2024-2025

Each nipper family that joins must have at least one parent/carer as a member of North Cronulla SLSC. You can choose from:

General Parent Nipper Membership $50.00 per season Suitable for most Nipper parents. It provides insurance coverage for helping on the beach on Sunday mornings.   

JAG Parent Associate $140.00 per season.

Required membership for  Water Safety, JAG Committee, Squad Leaders, Technical Officials, Section Leaders, Team Managers, Coaches, Physios, Maintenance crew, Chaplain etc. Fee includes membership and training fees for SLS courses provided by NCSLSC for eg Bronze Medallion.

Nipper Membership $110.00 per child per season

Registration Steps for New Nippers

Please complete four simple steps to register for the season, 

Step 1

Complete and sign separate copies of Parent membership form and Nipper membership form (one for each nipper joining). Email signed copies to admin@ncslsc.com.au.

Step 2

Make payment for all new members. Payments can be made at pay.slsa.com.au . Select pay North Cronulla SLSC.  We do accept Active Kids Vouchers please email admin@ncslsc.com.au. voucher details. 

Step 3 

Email a copy of both parent and child identification eg drivers licence, passport or birth certificate to admin@ncslsc.com.au

Step 4

Step 5

Download TeamApp This is our primary members only communication tool to provide parents updates during the Nippers season, and houses our library of information to assist you throughout the season.

All new memberships and transfers are subject to approval by North Cronulla SLSC Board. Unfortunately no refunds can be given on membership unless approved by the board.

Renewing Nipper Membership

Please ensure each Nipper family has at lease one current parent member of North Cronulla SLS Club. Please complete three simple steps to register for the season, 

Step 1

Please renew your parent and nipper/s membership using your SLSA portal login. Click here how to renew online guide.

Step 2

Make payment through SLSA portal.

NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)

North Cronulla SLSC has a strong interest in keeping children safe. As a club, we comply with the Child Protection legislation where all members in child-related roles are required to have a WWCC. A WWCC is needed if you are a Committee Member (Senior or Nippers), trainer, coach, mentor, or help with Nippers and are not a parent. Nipper parents do not need a WWCC for working with Nippers.
