Take the Next Step – Bronze Medallion Course Starting October 2026

We’re excited to announce that our 2026 North Cronulla SLSC Bronze Medallion Course will commence in October! 🌊💪

The Bronze Medallion is one of the most rewarding awards you can achieve in Surf Life Saving and opens the door to so many opportunities within our Club.

Whether you want to patrol North Cronulla Beach, compete for the Club, assist with Water Safety for our Nippers and members, or simply build your surf skills and confidence, completing your Bronze is a fantastic next step.

It’s also about much more than gaining a qualification. The Bronze course is a great way to meet new people, build friendships and mateship, challenge yourself, learn practical lifesaving and rescue skills, and become part of the team that helps keep our beach and community safe.

Before joining the course, participants must:

• Be a current financial member of North Cronulla SLSC
• Have access to the SLSA Hub
• Be able to complete a 400m pool swim in under 9 minutes
• Be ready to get involved, learn new skills and have some fun along the way!

Online learning can commence before the course starts, so once your membership and SLSA Hub access are sorted, you can get underway while you wait for the practical course to begin in October.

For our U17 members wishing to compete this season, remember that you must hold your Bronze Medallion, so now is the time to get organised.

You might have friends who aren't currently members of North Cronulla but have been looking for a way to give back to their community, get involved in Surf Life Saving, meet new people or even compete alongside you.
