• A big thank you from Steve Warren to those members who participated in the Swim a thon last Saturday. If you have pledged money please ensure it is received by the club office ASAP so we can finalise the event.
• Note in the newsletter next week the 16th & 17th November there is a Beach Fest in the park and the Cook Community Classic. As such parking will be more difficult than usual especially for the afternnon patrols so allow more time.
• Beach Fest will also be holding Fireworks (weather permitting) in front of the club on Saturday 16th November at 9pm. Members are invited to the club bar on the top floor to watch the fireworks - bar open from 5.30 - 9.30pm.
• Remember patrol members you must be proficient before the end of the year. Next proficiency is this Saturday at 9am and another Sunday 11am. IRB crew and drivers also Sunday 11am. As we have twilight nippers this Saturday it is good weekend to complete this requirement on Sunday - no nippers on the beach!
