Membership Fees for Season 2019 - 2020

In order for full membership to be processed the following forms must be completed: 

  1. SLSA Membership Form - completed, signed and returned to office;

  2. Surf Life Saving NSW Member Protection Declaration Form - completed, signed and returned once every three years;

  3. Full payment of membership fees as per fee schedule above;

  4. Working with Children Check (WWCC) - This is a new requirement that applicable members will need to complete as part of this seasons membership renewal process. Please note these applications could take up to four weeks to be completed. Please refer to attached WWCC fact sheet for more information.

What roles within Surf Life Saving constitute child-related work?

Some of the roles within SLS that require a WWCC include:

  • Member Protection and Information Officers / Grievance Officers

  • Junior Activity Chairperson

  • Age Manager / Age Manager Assistant

  • Water Safety personnel for Nippers / Surf Education programs

  • Youth / Rookie / YEP Coordinator /Assistant

  • Sport Coaches for under 18 only squads/teams 

  • TAFS / Program Assistants for under 18 only groups
