Training and Education at North Cronulla SLSC.
This is a critical function of any Surf Life Saving Club and North Cronulla is very fortunate to have a great team of Trainers and Educators available to provide instruction of the many courses available for Surf Life Savers.
Training and Education of SLSA courses and awards starts from our Nippers and across all age groups and membership categories in the Club. Over the last three years, our Training and Education team has deleived the following number of awards:
- 75 - Surf Rescue Certificates - Our future lifesavers
- 88 - Bronze Medallions
- 3 - Gold Medallion
- 35 - Silver Medallion (Patrol Captain) Beach Management
- 48 - IRB Crew Certificates
- 15 - Silver Medallion IRB Driver
- 24 - Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (AID)
- 120 - Resuscitation Certificates
- 13 - Silver Medallion Aquatic Rescue
- 86 - Radio Operators Certificate
- 7 - Advanced First Aid
- 5 - Training Officers
- 3 - Assessor
- 3 - Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE)
- 30 - ATV Operators
- 591 - Surf ED Awards (Nippers) Under 6 to Under 13
- Numerous Specialised Awards
- New qualified Training Officers and Assessors for BM, ARTC, Spinal and IRB
