Surf Life Saving Patrols
Surf Life Saving Patrols - Our core business.
Under our obligations to Surf Life Saving NSW and Sutherland Shire Council, North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club is responsible to provide life-saving patrols and beach management services at our beach.
We operate under the Patrol Service Agreement (PSA) provided by SLS NSW and these also form the basis of our Section 15 Agreement with Sutherland Shire Council.
Each season, a Patrol Operations Manual (POM) is developed and used by our Patrol Captains and Vice Captains whilst on duty.
The SLSNSW Standard Operating Procedures outline policies, procedures and guidelines to assist lifesaving services in the management and delivery of their operations. These documents define minimum operating standards for all Surf Life Saving Clubs, Support Operations/Services and the Australian Lifeguard Service. It also reflects the professional requirements, responsibilities and expectations of our services by all stakeholders including club members, emergency service partners, government departments and the wider community.
