Below is a “Media Release” by Sutherland Shire Council, which would now be in the news spotlight.

Media Release - Demolition contractor appointed as North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club redevelopment moves forward

This is an important step forward – with demolition on site to start soon. As you would be aware Council have already made changes to the carpark to facilitate the moving in of the Demolition Contractor. I know we will experience some pain over the coming months, but I also know that we are a resilient group who will make the best of the situation.

In the “Media Statement” you will also see an artist impression of the new proposed Clubhouse. Whilst there is still a lot of work to go before anything final is distributed, I can assure you all, that we are working well with the Sutherland Shire Council project team and Jasmax the Lead Designer – our views and comments are being supported throughout this period of design.

It is exciting times ahead – the light is definitely now switched on.
